Three Horizon Europe projects join forces for a policy event hosted during Brussels Climate Week
How can climate research and services better support adaptation decisions in practice? This question will take centre stage at a joint event organised by Impetus4Change (I4C), Climateurope2 and ASPECT on 16 October 2026 in Brussels, as part of Brussels Climate Week – Europe’s flagship week for climate action.
Read on to find out what will make this event unique, who is already on the agenda, and what else is in store during the week.
From research to policy recommendations
A key part of the event will be the presentation of a new joint policy brief developed by I4C, Climateurope2 and ASPECT. Rather than simply presenting its recommendations, the event will provide a space for policymakers, researchers and other stakeholders to discuss, challenge and strengthen them.
The insights and feedback gathered during the discussion will contribute to the finalisation of the policy brief, creating a direct link between the event and the science-to-policy process.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- discover how 3 Horizon Europe projects are contributing to the development of climate services and adaptation;
- exchange with researchers, policymakers and stakeholders working on climate adaptation at European level;
- contribute a policy perspective on how climate knowledge can better support decision-making; and
- engage directly with the recommendations in the new joint policy brief.
