SAVE THE DATE: Joint science4policy event

Brussels, Belgium

16 Oct 2026

Climate adaptation cannot succeed without science that is accessible, actionable, and embedded in policy. This joint event brings together insights from three EU-funded research projects – Impetus4Change, ASPECT, and ClimateEurope2 – all dedicated to advancing climate services and adaptation across Europe.

Each project approaches the challenge differently, from co-developing tools to onboarding climate services in cities, sectors, or new user groups. In the end, they share a common goal: ensuring that scientific knowledge translates into real impact for policymakers, practitioners, and citizens alike.

On 16 October 2026, the three projects will come together at Norway House in Brussels for a high-level, half-day discussion on combined insights and policy recommendations, distilled from years of collaborative research and stakeholder engagement. The event will culminate in the presentation of a joint policy brief, offering concrete guidance on how to scale climate services for seamless, evidence-based adaptation across the EU.

Mark your calendars!

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the projects shaping the future of climate services in Europe, and to engage with the policy implications of their work.
