Improving near-term climate predictions for social transformation

SAVE THE DATE: Joint science4policy event
Climate adaptation cannot succeed without science that is accessible, actionable, and embedded in policy. This joint event brings together insights from three EU-funded research projects – Impetus4Change (I4C), ASPECT, and ClimateEurope2 – all dedicated to advancing climate services and adaptation across Europe.
Each project approaches the challenge differently, from co-developing tools to onboarding climate services in cities, sectors, or new user groups. In the end, they share a common goal: ensuring that scientific knowledge translates into real impact for policymakers, practitioners, and citizens alike.

Mark your calendars
- Date & time: 16 October 2026 (morning)
- Location: Norway House, Brussels (Belgium)
The three projects will come together for a high-level, half-day discussion on combined insights and policy recommendations, distilled from years of collaborative research and stakeholder engagement.
The event will culminate in the presentation of a joint policy brief, offering concrete guidance on how to scale climate services for seamless, evidence-based adaptation across the EU.
