Work Package 7 is focused on Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation of key project information from the other work packages. In addition, WP7 includes methodological advances regarding transdisciplinary collaboration and dialogue with Demonstrator stakeholders.
Key points:
- Extended Peer Community: Beyond traditional activities in WP7, there’s a need for methodological advances to support the co-development in WP6 Demonstrators. To prevent siloed activities, an “extended peer community” comprising tier-one stakeholders and I4C researchers will be formed.
- Cross-cutting Activity: This community will facilitate cross-cutting activities to complement knowledge co-production in Demonstrators, linking cities and broader networks involved in WP1.
- Innovative Approach – Klimathon: To enable iterative co-production and open dialogue, the Klimathon methodology will be implemented. Klimathons are adapted hackathons bringing diverse actors together to solve pressing issues related to the project.
- Three Klimathons: Three Klimathons will be conducted throughout the duration of I4C, each with its own theme, initially aligning with the four elements of co-production in WP6.
- Results and Reporting: Results from each Klimathon will be analyzed and documented into internal/external reports to inspire work processes in other work packages.
- Narrative Resource: Dialogue and results from Klimathon group work can provide a narrative resource to examine challenges, barriers, and opportunities communities face in adapting to climate change and building resilience.
