What’s on the agenda at the 2nd I4C Climate Adaptalab?
As the disastrous effects of climate change intensify before our eyes, cities around the world are stepping up to use climate data and services to make urban areas more resilient against heatwaves, flooding and other climate-related risks.
In this context, we are pleased to share the latest programme updates for the second I4C Climate Adaptalab in Barcelona (11-13 March 2025). The I4C Climate Adaptalabs are hackathon-style events that bring together different stakeholders to co-create practical, science-based solutions for urban climate adaptation.
The 3 days will be split into a variety of sessions, networking and group work. Discussion topics include:
- Climate risk communication in Barcelona
- Flood risk and coastal protection in Bergen
- Drought management in Paris
- Disaster preparedness in Prague
Another highlight: Participants will find out how to access, and use, the latest indicator data developed by the I4C project in these areas (presented by the natural scientists working on the data in the project).
