Baltic Regional Forum for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change

The Baltic Regional Forum will spotlight the Baltic region, uniting regional and local leaders, policymakers, experts, and project practitioners to exchange best practices in climate adaptation and resilience.
Designed to inspire action and partnership, this EU Mission event will offer a series of hands-on workshops that encourage collaboration, highlight practical solutions, and shape strategies specific to the Baltic region. Participants will delve into pressing themes, including:
- Strengthening coastal resilience and responding to sea-level rise
- Innovative approaches to managing heat
- Ensuring water security and tackling drought challenges
The programme will also highlight how financing, multi-level governance, and collaboration drive climate action, celebrating the achievements of regional and local authorities alongside EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change projects.
Who can attend?
The event is open to representatives from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, and northern Germany. This includes regional and local authorities, councils and municipalities, national authorities, Charter Signatories, Mission Projects, Friends of the Mission, National Contact Points, Member State Facilitators, as well as representatives from academia and industry.
